OUR TOMATOES
When a major film project fell apart years ago, our very own Heirloom Heiress Paten decided to take over the old garden plot at Kinsella Estates and make something grow on her own. Needing to reconnect with her creativity, she ripped out old plants and trees and sought the help of famed Calistoga farmer Lynn Brown of Forni-Brown-Welsh to create a small farm on the property that now boasts over 40 different varieties of heirloom tomatoes and services some of the finest restaurants in Healdsburg: Barndiva, Dry Creek Kitchen, Chalkboard, Ralph’s, Spoonbar, and Mateo’s.
But she didn’t stop there: she then turned the story into the popular short form web series called HEIRLOOM, currently available on Vimeo (or watch below!)
Garnering over 3.5 million views in its first few months live, HEIRLOOM is inspired by Paten’s accidental adventures as an actress who stumbles into organic tomato farming. Warning: this romantic dramedy is best enjoyed with a caprese!
